Bigelow Hollow State Park

Jim and I went on an adventurous

outing today!

We decided to take a hike in this state forest in

Connecticut. We hiked 3 miles in

about 2 1/2 hours.

We had the best weather for it too!

What a great time we had!

I decided to climb this small mountain here in Connecticut.

I wanted to do something to celebrate my weight loss.

It may seem funny to others but I am very happy to

associate my adventure with such a success!

Our Yard

We had about 5-6 trees cut down in our yard last week.
Jim said that they needed to come down for safety - not
to hit wires or the house. He also added that it is now a
source of exercise for him. I decided I wanted to be a
part of it. So far I did it one evening and we will see how
long my arms hold out for before I call it quits.
